Who should Volunteer?
Anyone can volunteer their time for Qabeelat Falaah, especially if you have attended the lectures and are familiar with Al Maghrib Institute.

What will we do as a volunteer?
There are many different jobs for volunteers; you can choose whichever one fits you best! There are different ‘teams’ for each task needed to be completed and you can choose based on your own skills provided or we can match you up with a volunteer task.

When can we volunteer?
There are many different times available to volunteer; some volunteers only work during the actual weekend of the class (pre-post seminar set up and clean up or during lunches and breaks). Other volunteers may do the work needed before or after the actual seminar weekend.

Where do we volunteer?
Qabeelat Falaah is located in Edmonton, Alberta (Canada), but we have volunteers that come out from different locations. As long as you are able to complete your task and help out where you are able to!

Why Volunteer for Qabeelat Falaah?
Think of volunteering for Qabeelat Falaah as an investment, each time you help out by taking time to volunteer, you will be rewarded insha’Allah. Volunteering your time to help out an organization that teaches the Quran and Sunnah is well worth it! Remember The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “To smile in the company of your brother is charity. To command to do good deeds and to prevent others from doing evil is charity. To guide a person in a place where he can not get astray is charity. To remove troublesome things like thorns and bones from the road is charity. To pour water from your jug into the jug of your brother is charity. To guide a person with defective vision is charity for you.” (Bukhari)

• Communications & Marketing
  • Distribution of Leaflets/Fliers in your local /class/circle/organization
  • Online Marketing
  • Sending out emails, text messages, advertising, Facebook
  • Video Editors/Motion Graphics Design (esp. Adobe After Effects)
  • Desktop Publishing/Graphics Design Work (Adobe/Illustrator) (very important)
  • Website Development (if you have experience in website design, we’d love your help) (very important)
• Logistics
  • Setting up the Venue
  • Ushers
  • On site (decorations, maintenance)
  • Child Care
  • Audio Visual
• Registration
• Hospitality (very important function of the Qabeelah
  • Brothers Hospitality Lead
  • Sisters Hospitality Lead
  • Student Liaisons
